Michael Reiners - About
Michael Reiners (Michael C R Reiners), MA (Cantab), LL.M, is an English lawyer, constitutional writer, and architectural historian. Called to the Bar of England and Wales (2022). He is the author and editor of Reiners.org.uk, which publishes essays, draft legislation, and commentary on English constitutional law, political reform, and the art and architectural landscape.
Public work and drafting:
In 2025, Reiners began publishing a programme of draft legislation and supporting essays aimed at constitutional reform, emphasising clarity, enforceability, and traditional UK drafting discipline. Reiners is the co-author of the model Freedom of Speech Bill (2026) alongside Preston Byrne & Elijah Granet, published via the Adam Smith Institute.
